The balloon guide catheter is a coaxial-lumen, braid-reinforced, variable stiffness catheter that facilitates the delivery of therapeutic or interventional devices. The catheter has a radiopaque marker at the distal end and a branched catheter seat at the proximal end. The distal end of the balloon guide catheter is equipped with a compliant balloon that is flush with the catheter and which facilitates the closure of blood vessels as well as the control of proximal blood flow. All dimensions of the balloon guide catheter are indicated on the product label.
